Relations between the EU and Georgia started in 1992. Bilateral relations have further intensified since the 2003 rose revolution which brought to power a new Georgian administration committed to an ambitious programme of political and economic reforms.
Initialling ceremony of the Association Agreement between the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community and their Member States, of the one part, and Georgia, of the other part. The ceremony takes place in the margins of the Eastern Partnership Summit on 29 November 2013, in Vilnius.
