EU Finance Ministers meet on 7 November 2017 in Brussels to discuss with their EFTA counterparts from Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland how to make economic growth inclusive. At a breakfast meeting, Ministers are assessing the economic situation. They are also discussing the EU's common candidate for the position of secretary general of the World Customs Organisation.

Afterwards, the Council is called on to agree on proposals to revamp VAT rules so as to better support electronic commerce and online businesses. Financial supervision and encouraging capital market integration are also on the agenda.
