The 4th meeting of the Association Council between the EU and Georgia took place in Brussels on Monday 5 February 2018. Since the visa free regime entered into force in 2017, more than 170,000 Georgian citizens have enjoyed visa-free travel to the Schengen area. Georgian exports to the European Union grew by 37% in the first nine months of 2017, strengthening the EU's position as Georgia's largest trade partner.
