SOUNDBITE (English) Lakhdar BRAHIMI, United Nations and Arab League Special Representative for Syria
I am grateful to the EU for inviting me to share with them a few thoughts and also to listen to their views on one of the most important crises that exist in the world today. We discussed at length the indispensable political solution and what everybody needs to do to make that possible. I think that the EU has a role to play along with other important members of the international community and they told me they will do their very best to play their role and discuss with others what everybody should know.
